About Deborah

Deborah Halpern, M.A., M.Ed.

Deborah Halpern is an Educational Coach and Tutor with over ten years of teaching experience and an expertise in individualized education. Deborah graduated with a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Temple University in Philadelphia and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA.

Deborah moved to San Luis Obispo in 2017 and spent two years as a Paraeducator at Los Ranchos Elementary School. During her time there she tutored students in grades k-8 as well as college students. She is now in independent practice as an Educational Coach and also continues to tutor students in specific subjects such as reading, writing and math. Deborah currently has a waiting list for both Educational Coaching and Subject-Specific Tutoring. Please call or write to inquire.
